Readymech flatpack toys

ReadymechJust now I mentioned the book covers site by Fwis in the Side Salad (found that at Veerle’s). I am surprised her love for art did not lead her to Readymech though. From the description:

“Readymechs are free flatpack toys designed to fit on an 8.5″x11″ and to be printed on any printer.”

What you download are PDF’s with what are basically unassembled packages in very cute, toy-like shapes. Difficulty of assembly ranges from easy to hard, but the hard ones are worth the sweat and tears. If you mess up, no worries, just print another sheet and start over.

Among the toys are designs by Rexbox, Julie West and Preshaa. The PDF’s are available for free. Paper, scissors, glue and printer not included.

Update It looks like this has been around since 2005. Still it is new to me, maybe it is new to you too…
