Inman’s Heap

When Shaun Inman moved from his famous style to the rather experimental shape of ShaunInman.com/post featuring The Heap, I was a bit disappointed with the style. Well, no, I was really disappointed with the style.

Inman hit his site with another visual update however, and as you would expect he has out done himself once more. At least, that is my opinion. I think everything fits together really well, the dark, the colors, the typography, the icons, everything.

For a real play of color check out some of the ‘Piles’ or tags in The Heap, like Design.

I still feel that the posts that lose contrast over time and fade to white should be legible though. Why archive old posts if you can’t read them. Plus, it destroys the good looks and that’s a shame.
